The BFRA is looking for a Technical Vice Chair to support our Technical Committee and help shape the future of the bituminous roofing industry.
This is a voluntary role, ideal for someone passionate about technical excellence, collaboration and driving positive change across the sector.

Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Technical Chair and represent BFRA when required
- Attend quarterly Technical Committee meetings (occasional additional meetings during busy periods)
- Lead technical discussions and presentations when needed
- Help develop BFRA technical guidance and industry guidance
- Work with committee members to keep projects and actions on track
- Build relationships with other industry bodies
- Help identify new technical topics and opportunities to move the industry forward

Time commitment
Workload varies throughout the year, with peaks and quieter periods.
On average, you should expect to commit around two hours per week, approximately one day per month during busier periods.
