BFRA to host its first industry networking event in London

The Bitumen Flat Roofing Association (BFRA) is bringing the sector together for its first industry networking event, taking place in London on Wednesday 21 October 2026.

The free event will provide an opportunity for BFRA members, non-members and guests to meet, network and find out more about the association and its plans for the future.

Taking place at Fairgame City, London, the event is open to BFRA members and non-members, including manufacturers, contractors and affiliates. The BFRA has also invited representatives from organisations including the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA), Single Ply Roofing Association (SPRA), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Rooflight Association and National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC).

The afternoon will combine informal networking with food, drinks and entertainment, providing an opportunity for people from across the industry and the wider construction sector to connect in a relaxed environment.

Shaun Lotay, Chair of the BFRA, said: “This is an exciting milestone for the BFRA and a great opportunity to bring people from across the industry together. We have spent the past couple of years establishing the association and building a strong foundation, so this event is about taking the next step – creating opportunities for people to meet, share ideas and build relationships.

“We’re particularly pleased to welcome not only our members and guests of our membership, but also representatives from other roofing and construction organisations. Collaboration is extremely important to us, and we want the BFRA to be a positive and inclusive voice for the reinforced bitumen membrane sector.”
